The Traitors US season 3 alums Boston Rob Mariano and Dylan Efron are teaming up for a new project together.
Page Six spoke with Boston Rob about Dylan’s time on Dancing With the Stars and gave fans a look inside their friendship.
A green flag bromance:
Unlike his time on The Traitors, Boston Rob is happy to sit out of the DWTS competition. Regardless, it was the love of competition that drew Dylan and Boston Rob together as friends.
“We just vibed based on, like, we both have a shared sense of adventure and competition. [Dylan is] just a good guy. I like that.”
While the friendship was literally born inside a castle of deceit and murder, they saw great qualities in each other. “Inside the house, when you’re cutthroat and trying to kill ’em, you’re playing a game. But, as soon as that was over, we just connected on a regular level.”
What’s next for Boston Rob and Dylan:
Boston Rob teased a new project he’s working on with the popular DWTS competitor.
“Dylan and I actually worked on a different project that’s going to be coming out soon.”
“It’s kind of like a little bit docuseries, YouTube format, a little being competitive.”
As far as Boston Rob’s future on competition reality TV, he worries his reputation precedes him. “As a competitor on these shows, I feel like it’s been 25 years.”
“I kind of have a reputation now where they might let me stay a little while, but they’re going to be coming for me. So, I feel like my days as a competition reality person might be over.”
Still, he’s not done entertaining fans just yet. “I’d like to move into other aspects [of entertainment],” he concluded.
