In the second week of Big Brother Season 28, Head of Household Rick Devens won the Power of Veto, used it to save Lyric Medeiros, and named Rome Seymour as the replacement nominee. As a result, Rome, Jason De Puy, and Melody Morris face the upcoming eviction.
Before the Big Brother Season 28 Week 2 Veto meeting, the house exploded into chaos during the nomination ceremony. Devens initially put up Jason, Lyric, and Melody as pawns, but Jason blamed Angela Murray.
Devens, along with his alliance, targeted Rome the whole week. After winning the Power of Veto, Devens pulled Lyric off the block and successfully executed the backdoor plan to put Rome up. In a desperate move to avoid becoming major targets, Rome and Lyric even faked a breakup to draw attention away from their alliance. heated shouting match that took Devens three tries to adjourn.
