Bailey Taylor has a message for Barstool Sports over allegedly “ripping off” her brand.
The Summer House star took to social media to blast the media company for allegedly copying her “It Girl” brand — and now, she says, its interview style and captions too.
“You all got mad at me 2 years ago and said that I claimed I invented the term it girl,” Bailey began on Oct. 5.
“I claimed I invented a street style series where we asked who the ultimate it girl was to celebrities.”
The reality star also uploaded a screen recording of Barstool’s “It Girl” account asking actress Anne Hathaway who her Hollywood “It Girl” was at the Verity premiere.
“I’ve been doing it for three years,” Bailey continued, adding that Barstool is “doing the exact same thing. The captions are identical copy.”
Bailey also alleged that Barstool employees have watched her stories and followed her account for years, long before the company rebranded its account to It Girl.
“The entire thing is a rip off. He’s a rip off…. This is embarrassing.”
ICYMI: Bailey Taylor launched her “It Girl” street-interview series in September 2023, later expanding the brand into a podcast format in early 2026.
Barstool rebranded its “Chicks” account to “It Girl” in 2023, which Bailey called out at the time for allegedly stealing her brand identity.
At the time of this post, neither Barstool nor its founder, Dave Portnoy, has publicly acknowledged Bailey’s latest allegations.
