Ariana Madix is setting the record straight on where she stands with former bestie, Scheana Shay.
If you need a quick refresher: the friendship between the Vanderpump Rules stars took a hit after Scheana maintained some level of contact with Tom Sandoval.
AKA, Ariana’s ex-boyfriend.
That, combined with Ariana’s post-Scandoval career glow-up—Dancing with the Stars, Broadway, Love Island USA—meant she was booked, busy, and, according to some insiders, a source of envy within her friend group.
Fast forward to today.
During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the Bravoleb gave an update on where things currently stand with Scheana.
“It’s not where it was, but it’s okay,” she shared.
She also revealed the two mainly communicate via text, with check-ins during holidays or when something important comes up.
And while she was invited to Scheana’s 40th birthday party, Ariana was unable to attend due to her WWHL taping in New York.
In true Ariana fashion, she kept it gracious—but it’s safe to say this friendship isn’t yet “good as gold.”
I couldn’t help but wonder, will it ever be again?
