You do French fries, but Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Angie Katsanevas does franchise … and she’s taking her cause to Congress!
Angie is going to Washington DC, as she’ll testify before Congress on supporting franchise businesses tied to her expanding salon franchises.
Angie K. does big things:
TMZ reported the RHOSLC star will testify on behalf of the International Franchise Association on Thursday. Angie will provide her firsthand experience as a business owner whose hair salon brand, Lunatic Fringe, has now grown to 9 franchise locations nationwide.
Angie plans to advocate strongly for franchisees. She views franchising as a living example of the American Dream, especially for women and immigrants.
If you’re a RHOSLC fan, you know that’s deeply personal for her. Angie’s parents are immigrants, and our sources say she sees franchising as a pathway to ownership, independence, and generational opportunity.
It’s been a struggle to get here:
Angie K. was a guest on Jeff Lewis‘s radio show and discussed how her castmates criticizing her husband, Shawn Trujillo, and their business, has been the most challenging part of being on the show.
“That was the most hurtful part of coming on the show, that Shawn shouldn’t be brought into anything,” Angie said.
“You really have to stand strong in who you are, your values, the brand that you’ve built.”
