Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen left the Clubhouse to give his unfiltered opinion about former New York City mayor Eric Adams.
Mention it all:
Bravo TV‘s Executive Producer described Adams’ “chaotic” and “horrible” stint as mayor in another seemingly drunken rant during CNN’s coverage of New Year’s Eve 2025 in NYC.
Holding up a shot glass alongside his co-host Anderson Cooper and actor B.J. Novak, Andy trashed the ex-N.Y.C. mayor just moments after his term ended.
“Oh no,” Anderson giggled as Andy spoke about “watching the final moments of Mayor Adams’ chaotic, horrible” term shortly after midnight on Thursday, Jan. 1.
“I mean, he got his pardons,” Andy continued before B.J. jumped in with, “Andy! Andy! We’ve got to cut you off!” Still, Andy persisted. “I’m just saying, great. You got your pardons. Go off into the sunset. We’ll fiddle with what we have, with what you’ve left us with.”
“You pardoned your way through four years, and all the clubs, we’ll see you there. I just want to say, goodbye, Mayor Adams, you did it, you did it, you did it, didn’t you?”
This isn’t the first time a drunken Andy slammed a NYC official on NYE:
Years ago, during CNN’s NYE coverage, Andy ranted, “Watching Mayor de Blasio do his victory lap dance after four years of the crappiest term as the mayor of New York [City].”
“The only thing Democrats and Republicans can agree on is what a horrible mayor he has been. So, sayonara, sucka!”
Moments later, Andy served more shade. “2022! It’s a new year! ‘Cause guess what? I have a feeling I’m going to be standing right here next year, and you know who I’m not going to be looking at dancing as the city comes apart? You!”
