Love Island USA season 7 winners Amaya and Bryan are officially dunzo.
Amaya Espinal — better known as Amaya Papaya — hopped on Instagram stories to confirm the breakup rumors that had been swirling just hours before the reunion premiered.
ICYMI: the same day gossip dropped that Pepe may have cheated on Iris, fans clocked that Amaya and Bryan unfollowed each other.
Now that the season is wrapped, Amaya set the record straight:
“My papayas, Bryan and I are no longer together. After leaving the villa, it became very clear that we were on two different journeys. Our visions didn’t align and relationships are supposed to be a team sport. You don’t have to drink the whole sea to know it’s salty.”
During the reunion, Bryan’s alleged infidelity was addressed. He brushed it off as a “lapse in judgment,” and they both denied it in press interviews.
Still, Amaya kept her sign-off classy:
“All love here, I do not condone any hate/spread of negativity/bullying! I truly wish him the best.”
Fans can’t help but wonder if Bryan ever truly liked Amaya — or if their connection was more about convenience and strategy.
His defense of Amaya during the “stand on business” challenge completely flipped his arc in the villa.
From underdog to golden boy, their sudden fan-favorite status helped secure the win.
