Summer House stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula haven’t made any progress with ending their marriage legally, and it’s intentional.
Page Six reported that the estranged couple is still sorting through things, including financials. Allegedly, Kyle wants to let Amanda take the lead in the legal process so he “wouldn’t look like the villain.”
The couple’s finances have been a hot topic for years. Amanda has a trust fund. Still, Kyle was fighting to keep his company, Loverboy, afloat for the last few years. He stopped paying himself for his work at Loverboy and put $500,000 into his business to keep it from going upside down. Additionally, he added DJing to his resume for additional income.
Last summer, Amanda shared that she and Kyle Cooke did not sign a prenup before tying the knot. “I messed up major,” she admitted.
“I don’t know if it was the movies we watched growing up or the tabloids, but prenup had such a negative connotation.” In retrospect, Amanda encourages everyone, especially women, to protect their assets. “Everyone should get a prenup. Hear it from the girl that didn’t get one.”
