Former ‘friend of’ the Real Housewives of Orange County, Alexis Bellino, is celebrating her upcoming 50th birthday in the most OC way possible … with a facelift!
In January, Alexis Bellino will leap into the 50th chapter with a “youthful and zesty” refreshed face.
The RHOC alum revealed to PEOPLE exclusively that she underwent a mid-facelift, which she bought as an early birthday present to herself ahead of her personal milestone.
Alexis opened up about her “complex” relationship with plastic surgery over the years. Her first enhancement, a boob job [hence her moniker, Jesus Jugs], was done when she was 19, making her the “first girl” at her college to get implants.
Unfortunately, a complication left one of her implants leaking silicone, which led her to get smaller implants. In 2011, Jesus Jugs Alexis also underwent sinus surgery [😉] to remove impacted tissue. The procedure doubled as a cosmetic nose job to address the “bump” on her bridge.
Considering her sketchy history, Alexis revealed why she chose to undergo cosmetic surgery again. “A couple of my friends who are a decade older than me both had it done at 49, and they look amazing at 60. Learn from people who are older and wiser than me.”
Alexis made a point to note that her seven-hour surgery was self-funded. Low-key, I think Alexis wanted to offset any ‘Shannon Beador paid for this surgery commentary,’ but here we are. The cosmetic work included a mini facelift, a neck lift, a brow lift, an upper blepharoplasty, and a CO2 laser to resurface her skin.
While the recovery was “brutal,” Alexis described it as a “whole different animal” compared to her past experiences. “It wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be, but it was not easy.”
