Alexia Umansky, the daughter of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky, is speaking out about an offensive label.
The RHOBH daughter took to her “safe space” — aka Instagram — to question why some people continue to throw the term “nepo baby” in her face.
“I genuinely just want to know why people feel the need to remind me,” Alexia said in an Instagram Reel.
“Does it make you guys feel good to call my dad ‘daddy’? Does that make you feel like that’s going to make me feel small?”
ICYMI: Alexia works in real estate alongside her dad, Mauricio, and her sister, Farrah Brittany.
Mau is the founder and CEO of The Agency — the global luxury real estate brokerage he launched in 2011.
In fact, Alexia, Farrah, and Mauricio all starred on Netflix’s Buying Beverly Hills, which ran for two seasons before being canceled in 2024.
However, some critics think Alexia is not self-made or worthy of the head start.
“I think about it every day,” she continued.
“You don’t think I feel the pressure that people look at me and think that this was handed to me on a silver platter?”
Alexia said the “nepo baby” label is “a battle” she’s had to work through in therapy and even admitted to almost not pursing real estate.
“I love working with my dad. I love working with my sister, but I didn’t want to join for this exact reason.”
The Buying Beverly Hills star acknowledged she’ll never be “self-made” in the same way her parents were.
But, she still plans to hustle just as hard.
