Below Deck Down Under‘s season 1 and 2’s chief stew, Aesha Scott‘s departure from the popular Bravo show suddenly makes sense … she and her fiancé, Scotty Dobson, are competing on season 9 of The Amazing Race Australia!
The announcement:

Scott and I are lucky enough to be competing in Season 9 of The Amazing Race Australia!!!!!
“I cannot emphasize this enough….. THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE 😭😭😭😭.”
“It has been a bucket list dream of mine since I was 13 and the fact I am here right now in our first location is SO SURREAL. I can barely process it! Pinch me pinch me pinch me!!!”
“Added to that is the fact that I get to do this with my love by my side, making memories that will last us a lifetime and that we can one day show our future kiddies.”
“Lucky and grateful are understatements 🥹🥹. I feel so grateful to share this experience with all these incredible, talented humans. I think you will all really enjoy watching 😍☀️💛.”

Captain Jason Chambers kept Aesha’s secret:
Jason told E!, “I haven’t heard from Aesha for a while.”
“She’s been doing her own thing. I know she’s been really busy.” He continued, “I do track her, so I know she’s had some great success being a little entrepreneur, which is fantastic. I know she’s getting engaged and married.”
Making sure not to spill Aesha’s tea, Captain Jason noted, “Our paths will cross soon. We’re in total different directions. We used to look forward to working together and we will connect again soon … especially hopefully before BravoCon. But looking forward to seeing her.”
