Denise Richards‘ estranged husband Aaron Phypers revealed his distressing debts and financial woes as he requested spousal support in his divorce from the actress/Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality.
The finances:
Us Weekly reported that Aaron filed court docs detailing his monthly expenses.
“The bills include $15,000 on rent, $1,500 on health care, $4,800 on groceries and household supplies, $2,000 on eating out, $5,500 on utilities, $1,300 on cell phone, $3,200 on laundry and cleaning, $2,500 on clothes, $3,000 on auto expenses, and another $61,000 on debt.”
Additional debts include “$180,000 owed to his landlord for back rent and repairs, $120,000 owed for back rent for his former office space, another $230,000 for a loan provided by a man named Tom McCormack, $250,000 owed to a company named High Velocity Admin, $50,000 to his lawyer, Michael Finely, and another $20,000 to another law firm.”
Allegedly, Denise earned over $250,000 per month from her OnlyFans, special appearances, and television gigs, as per Aaron.
The split:
Aaron initially filed for divorce from Denise due to “irreconcilable differences.” Days later, Denise filed court docs pleading for a restraining order against Aaron. She accused him of being abusive throughout their marriage. Photos of her injuries to support her allegations were given to the court.
Denise testified that Aaron’s abuse resulted in her sustaining multiple black eyes during the relationship. But Aaron has vehemently denied all claims of abuse. He claimed Denise fell and hurt herself, and that he never touched or threatened her.
Following his testimony, Aaron was arrested outside the court on October 17. He was released from jail hours later after posting bond. Denise’s ex was officially charged with two felony counts of injuring a spouse and two felony counts of dissuading a witness by force or threat. Aaron is facing years in prison if convicted.
On November 7, the Wild Things actress was granted a permanent restraining order against her ex. The order prohibits Aaron from coming near her or sending her any form of communication.
