Denise Richards’ lawyer responded to the lawsuit Aaron Phypers filed against his client.
PEOPLE obtained court docs revealing that Denise’s divorce attorney, Brett Berman, denied Aaron’s allegations against the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star.
From the desk of Denise’s divorce attorney:
“In addition to the repeated abuse perpetrated by Mr. Phypers against Ms. Richards throughout the parties’ marriage, Mr. Phypers has continued to harass Ms. Richards since being served with the Temporary Restraining Order by, among other things, disseminating private information from Ms. Richards’ cell phone and laptop, which he stole.”
The statement continued, “These actions continue to disturb Ms. Richards’ peace.”
“We have warned Mr. Phypers in writing not to disseminate any information from Ms. Richards’ stolen cell phone and laptop but, he continues to do so.”
“Ms. Richards will not be responding to Mr. Phypers’ false allegations in a public forum, and will be addressing Mr. Phypers’ abuse in Court.”

Denise Richards’ estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, filed a police report against the actress days after she accused him of domestic violence, as per reports from Us Weekly.
Aaron’s legal claims against Denise:
Sources spilled that Aaron went into the Lost Hills station for the LA Sheriff’s Department on Sunday, July 20. Allegedly, he filed was over alleged vandalism, theft, and assault.
A rep for the Sheriff’s Department confirmed Phypers filed the report but could not disclose the details of the allegations.
As Us previously reported, Phypers also sent an emotional letter to close friends and family claiming Richards, 54, desperately needs help and denying her claims he abused her.
Denise’s claims against Aaron:
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Aaron Phypers after accusing him of physical and verbal abuse.
The restraining order will last through August 8, when the exes are due in court. Aaron has been ordered to stay 100 yards from Denise, her home, her place of work, and her vehicle. Court documents obtained by TMZ detailed the abuse and came with graphic photos of Denise’s bruised face.
Court docs from Denise state, “Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack [and more.]”
Denise says Aaron severely bruised her eye in an alleged attack from 2022. She and Aaron were at his workplace in Malibu. He “became paranoid” the potted plants he brought in “contained listening devices.” He then struck her in the eye with the heel of his palm while calling her a “f*cking bitch.”
Additionally, she also provides red carpet photos from the following year that show bruising on her arms. She alleges the bruises came from her husband and she forgot to cover them up.
