Denise Richards‘s estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, owes Rupert Perry approximately $160K for fraud after his late wife was ‘treated’ by Aaron for cancer at his Q360 Club.
According to court docs obtained by TMZ, a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge granted a default judgment in the amount of $160K against Aaron.
Last month, Denise was ordered to pay Aaron monthly support while Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and her unemployed ex battle it out in court.
Aaron was charged with fraud:
US Weekly reported that a client of Aaron’s, Rupert Perry, filed a lawsuit against the self-proclaimed health expert. Rupert’s wife, Elina Katsioula-Beall, died of cancer in May 2024. She was being treated by Aaron the year prior, according to court docs.
The filing stated, “Katsioula-Beall was diagnosed with Sarcoma — a rare cancer that develops in the bones and soft tissues — in 2019.” She sought “a stem cell treatment for her cancer” that Aaron’s medical center had provided. Rupert claimed that Aaron promised the treatment “would cure or at least ameliorate [Elina’s] condition.”
Rupert’s suit alleges that Aaron had “claimed that the treatment had a 98 percent success rate.” Additionally, he was so confident in it that, if it did not work, he would refund half of the money — $126,000 — that Perry and Katsioula-Beall paid him for the procedures.
Elina was treated at Aaron’s ‘wellness center’ between July and September 2023. “That December, she learned that her tumors had grown, prompting her and Perry to reach out to Phypers with a written request for a $63,000 refund.”
Aaron “ignored her request and instead proposed that she undergo another round of treatment,” Perry claimed in the filing. Also, he alleged that Aaron ignored further requests for a refund.
“On May 21, 2024, Ms. Katsioula-Beall succumbed to her illness and died,” the suit stated. “On June 28, 2024, Mr. Perry spoke with [Aaron Phypers] by telephone, who acknowledged the debt but proffered a series of excuses for his failure to pay the $63,000.”
How is unemployed Aaron gonna pony up?
Last month, the court ruled that Aaron would receive a hefty amount of money from Denise F*cking Richards monthly until further notice.
The actress/model to pay Aaron $5K per month in temporary spousal support during the divorce proceedings. “The payments are due on the 5th of each month. starting March 5. They will continue until further order of the court.”
Additionally, Denise must pay Aaron $25K in attorney’s fees, plus an additional $5K for a forensic accountant. The $30K total will be paid in three $10K installments at the end of March, April, and May.
