The Challenge star Corey Wharton shared a scary medical update involving his youngest daughter.
“My worst nightmare became a reality,” Corey shared on April 13 alongside a series of photos from his daughter Maya’s hospitalization.
“Being halfway across the globe and getting a phone call saying your daughter is getting AirVac’d to Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas is any parent’s worst nightmare.”

Sadly, his 3-year-old daughter, whom he shares with ex Taylor Selfridge, is no stranger to hospital stays.
Maya was born with tricuspid atresia, a congenital heart defect.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the condition occurs when the tricuspid valve in the heart fails to properly form, often requiring surgery and ongoing medical care.
Corey went on to explain:
“For Maya, this isn’t her first time in the hospital. She’s already faced two open-heart surgeries, and now we’re here again — this time fighting for two of her most vital organs, her lungs and her heart.”
Thankfully, baby girl is back home in California recovering.
