Bershan Shaw may be new to the Real Housewives of New York, but she has already established an alliance with ‘OG’ Ramona Singer.

The Business Coach/Motivational Speaker publicly shut down accusations that Ramona is ‘racist’ after her cast mates Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps, and Leah McSweeney confirmed they believe Ramona uses Black people as props to prove she’s not racist.

The newbie stepped in:

In an exclusive interview with US Weekly, the RHONY ‘friend of’ reiterated, “I’d say this again. Everyone’s like, ‘She’s a racist.’ She’s not. We just grew up in different ways in different areas.”

“Ramona didn’t grow up in a diverse area, right?”

The Buckle Up With Bershan” podcast host continued to defend her new friend. “So, Ramona lives in her bubble, right? Her friends. But when we met in the summer, we hit it off. … She’s a straight shooter.”

Don’t hate the player, hate the game:

“They [New Yorkers] stay in their neighborhoods. They’re here, they’re there. I just think she has a world — it’s Upper East Side. She goes to the Hamptons. That’s her world and that’s her own bubble.”

“I’m not like, you know, kissing her butt … but she’s like a lot of New Yorkers.”
