About the Business:
The Closet is a Chicago neighborhood bar for the whole neighborhood. A staple in the Boystown community, the Closet walls have been a second home to many. The bar was established in July of 1978 by two women, Judi and Rose. This was quite the accomplishment especially when you consider…2 women…2 lesbians…starting a business in the 70’s.
