About the Business:
The mission at BAO bar + Asian Kitchen is to tranform Asian cuisine in South Florida into a truly yummy experience.
The journey began when searching for good Asian food and only found the generic Thai-Sushi fare. With a limited budget, they personally built out the restaurant and focused on bringing Ft Lauderdale Asian food that they would enjoy.
It was important that they actually make all the food; everything from the dumplings to the funky sauces are made right here in on Las Olas. In an industry with a revolving door, they’ve managed to translate the same values they uphold with the food to the BAO family and are proud to have the same group of quirky individuals that helped open the restaurant to make BAO who they are today.
