We can NEVER be friends!

June 3, 2019 9:02am

Real Housewives friendships come and go. In fact, very few last forever. More often than not the friendships on the Real Housewives go through many ups and downs over the years before eventually reach a breaking point. And once that breaking point happens very few, if any, Real Housewives friendships can go back to how it used to be.

With that said we thought it would be the perfect time to relive the biggest friendship-ending fights in Real Housewives history.

From Lisa and Kyle to NeNe and Kim to Jill and Bethenny – these are the fights that tore our favorite BFFs apart.

Let’s dive into part 2 of the biggest friendship-ending fights in Real Housewives history.

Kyle Richards and Kim Richards

Kyle and Kim Richards have had their fair share of fallouts over the years. While the two are good now, there was a time when they didn’t speak at all. The most notable is when Kyle accused Kim of being an alcoholic during the season 1 finale.  From there Kim and Kyle butted heads over Kim’s dog, Kingsley, biting Kyle’s daughter’s hand to Kyle’s American Woman, which is a semi-biographical television series about their childhood. One thing that helps the two stay on good terms nowadays is the fact that Kim is no longer on RHOBH.

Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant

Over the years Gizelle Bryant and Karen Huger have gone at it on more than one occasion. But their friendship fell apart during season 3 when Gizelle made jokes about Karen’s finances. “You have not been a very good friend, Gizelle,” Huger said at the reunion to which Bryant shot back, “You do not allow me to be.” Despite their issues, Bryant was there for Huger when her parents died; callingHuger “one of the strongest women I know.” However, rumor has it the two go head to head during season 4.

NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak

NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak began the Real Housewives of Atlanta as the best of friends when the show premiered in 2008. Sure, over the years their friendship had some ups and downs but they always worked through their issues. However, when they both returned to RHOA for season 10 their once strong friendship turned into an all-out war. The drama started when NeNe accused Kim of using her various health ailments as excuses, which led to Kim calling NeNe “sick and disgusting” for living in a “roach nest.” Many members of the RHOA cast took issue with that term and dubbed it racist due to its cultural implications of poor black women living in the projects. During #RoachGate, NeNe and Kim traded insults and threats of legal action. In the end, both agree they would never be friends again.

Lauri Peterson and Vicki Gunvalson

When the Real Housewives of Orange County started in 2006, Lauri Peterson and Vicki Gunvalson were close friends and co-workers. But by the time Lauria left the show during season 4 their friendship had deteriorated quite a bit. So when Lauri returned to RHOC during season 8 and claimed she once saw a married Vicki in bed with two other people it set the OG of the OC off. “I have never been with multiple partners in my life!” Vicki screamed at Lauri on a ski slope during a girls’ trip. “You’re filthy! Good luck with your life, Lauri.”

The two stopped speaking immediately after but in 2015 Vicki admitted to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that she had forgiven Lauri. “Lauri and I saw each other a couple a months ago and all’s good,” she said. “I said, ‘I forgive you, and let’s move on.'” Adding, “Lauri was just trying to get another job. And it didn’t work, she’s off the show.”

Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita

Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita were the “Lucy and Ethel” of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. However, their friendship ended after a squabble over Teresa and her husband Joe’s legal troubles. “I lost a best friend tonight,” Laurita said during RHONJ‘s season 3 finale. Throughout season 4 and 5 the two remained at odds. Laurita left RHONJ during season 6 but returned for season 7 and attempted to reconcile with her former BFF who was fresh out of prison. In the end, the two couldn’t make their friendship work again. At the season 7 reunion, they traded insults before Giudice accused Laurita of turning her and hubby into the feds. Laurita left RHONJ once again at the end of season 7.

Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump

Brandi Glanville and Lisa Vanderpump were unlikely friends on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills but somehow Brandi’s unfiltered personality and Lisa’s cheeky prim-and-proper persona balanced each other out. The only thing that was better than watching their friendship blossom was watching it fall apart. Over three seasons fans watched Brandi and LVP go back and forth between verbal arguments and attempts at reconciliation. Ultimately a memorable slap ended their friendship for good. In 2015, Brandi accused LVP of manipulation on RHOBH. “Lisa Vanderpump is a manipulative person, and when I was on the show, I did a lot of her dirty work for her. And I finally realized it, and I started calling her on her s—,” Glanville said in March 2019, pointing out that she and LVP hadn’t spoken in years.

As for LVP, she spoke to PEOPLE in 2015 about Brandi saying, “I don’t have any understanding of her motives in any situation ever. I thought the only way for me to really sustain any kind of relationship was to give her the kind of credibility she deserves, which is little to nothing.”

Stephanie Hollman and Brandi Redmond

Stephanie Hollman and Brandi Redmond were practically attached at the hip during season 1 of the Real Housewives of Dallas. When season 2 premiered fans learned that Brandi and Stephanie hadn’t spoken in four months, which is forever in BFF time. Brandi iced Stephanie out after Stephanie referred to Brandi’s marriage as a “slow-motion car crash” in her blog. “I know that her marriage isn’t perfect and I would never say anything about her marriage that was hurtful and mean,” Redmond said. “Our relationship feels like a breakup. My best friend is not my best friend anymore.”

Luckily, these two were able to work past their issues. The two eventually reconnected which led to  Stephanie apologizing to Brandi. Not surprisingly Brandi and Stephanie’s friendship picked up right where it left. The two remain BFFS and even have a podcast together called Weekly Dose of BS.

Kathy Wakile and Teresa Giudice

Kathy Wakile and Teresa Giudice may be blood but they certainly aren’t friends. While the two cousins were once very close they had a major falling out when Wakile joined the Real Housewives of New Jersey during season 3. While the two attempted to be friendly over the years, during season 7 Teresa told Kathy and her sister Rosie that she wasn’t interested in having a relationship with them. “At this point, there really isn’t any relationship,” Wakile told The Daily Dish in 2018, while telling The Morning Breath: “I think that I’ve tried as much as I can, and at this point, I’m so fulfilled and so happy with my life that anybody would want to be in my life, and I’m not chasing anything.”

Danielle Staub and Margaret Josephs

Danielle Staub and Margaret Josephs’ friendship was hot and heavy at first but it ultimately lasted about as long as Danielle’s marriage to Marty Caffrey. While Margaret was a bridesmaid in Danielle’s wedding to Marty, the two spent the three weeks leading up the wedding fighting 24/7. On Danielle’s big day the two even went at it when Danielle accused Margaret of not doing enough, which caused Margaret to freak out. “You’re a f—ing bridezilla, and you’re being an a–hole,” Josephs said. Danielle apologized but later took a cheap shot at Margaret. Danielle claimed Margaret was never around her children, prompting Margaret to toss wine in Danielle’s face. At the season 9 finale party, Marty knocked Margaret’s appearance and claimed she was jealous of Danielle’s good looks. Marty ended up in the pool and Danielle and Margaret’s friendship was officially over. However, their feud continues on social media.

Siggy Flicker and Everyone

Siggy Flicker burned practically every bridge during season 8 on the Real Housewives of New Jersey. The season started off rocky when Siggy took the RHONJ crew to Boca Raton for Melissa Gorga’s birthday. However, things went awry when Melissa and her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice got into a playful cake fight. Siggy was hurt over the “trashy” act and couldn’t get over it to save her life as the season continued. It didn’t help that newbie Margaret Josephs who Siggy brought on the show didn’t have her back; dubbing her “Soggy Flicker” instead. For the rest of the season, the two were at each other’s throats prompting Siggy’s exit from the show following season 7. Siggy only remains friendly with Dolores Catania.
