Real Housewives friendships come and go. In fact, very few last forever. More often than not the friendships on the Real Housewives go through many ups and downs over the years before eventually reach a breaking point. And once that breaking point happens very few, if any, Real Housewives friendships can go back to how it used to be.

With that said we thought it would be the perfect time to relive the biggest friendship-ending fights in Real Housewives history.

From Lisa and Kyle to NeNe and Kim to Jill and Bethenny – these are the fights that tore our favorite BFFs apart.

Let’s dive into part 1 of the biggest friendship-ending fights in Real Housewives history.

Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards

Sure, over the years Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards have had some ups and downs in their friendship but they’ve always have been able to kiss and make up until season 9. PuppyGate tore the RHOBH cast apart and even LVP and Kyle’s friendship wasn’t strong enough to weather the storm. Their friendship officially ended when Kyle confronted LVP about rumors she leaked the PuppyGate story to Radar Online. LVP swore on her children that she had nothing to do with it but Kyle wasn’t 100% sure. The two got into a huge screaming match, which only escalated when Ken Todd jumped in, their fight eventually ended with LVP and Ken throwing Kyle out of their home. “You came here to tell me I am a liar,” Vanderpump said. “So we’re done.” Kyle and LVP haven’t talked since.

Cynthia Bailey and NeNe Leakes

NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey’s longstanding friendship fell apart once again following season 11 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. NeNe dubbed Cynthia “sneaky and underhanded” after Cynthia allegedly conspired to bring NeNe’s arch nemesis Kenya Moore back onto RHOA. Cynthia denied NeNe claims after the RHOA OG exploded on social and the reunion. “I’ve tried to be a good friend to her and I’m just tired,” Cynthia confessed.  The two became quick allies and friends when Cynthia joined RHOA in 2010. Their friendship hit a speedbump during season 6 but the two were able to quickly reconcile.

Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill

Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill’s friendship was all cool until it quickly turned uncool. The minor miscommunications that initially drove a wedge in Bethenny and Carole’s friendship quickly snowballed into a huge rift that even shocked their RHONY co-stars. Radziwill was hurt and angry over digs Bethenny made about her not being married, not having kids and not having a career. When Carole saw what Bethenny was saying about her in her confessional interview Carole took to her Bravo blog and wrote a scathing post about Bethenny’s “lies, insinuations, and false characterizations.” This move ended their friendship for good. Carole left RHONY shortly after but in April 2019 Bethenny revealed on WWHL that the two are on good terms.

Tamra Judge, Vicki Gunvalson, and Shannon Beador

The Tres Amigos found themselves at odds during season 11 when Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador turned on Vicki Gunvalson because of her alleged involvement in Brooks Ayers cancer scam. Vicki denied their accusations but instead of trying to fix their friendship she went on the attack. The OG of the OC even went so far as to spread false rumors that Eddie Judge was gay and that Shannon’s ex-husband David Beador physically abused her. After a few years, the ladies were able to make amends at the season 12 reunion.

Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice

These days there’s no love lost between Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice but once upon a time, these two were quite good friends. However, their 15-year-friendship started to deteriorate after Teresa made some “jokes” about Caroline and her son Chris Manzo in her cookbook. The tension in their friendship continued to grow as Caroline attempted to fix Teresa’s strained relationship with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga. Giudice later accused Caroline of siding with Joe and Melissa over rumors she tried to expose Melissa’s alleged past as a stripper. More fuel was added to the fire when Caroline claimed that Teresa tried to poison Dina Manzo against her. By season 5, their friendship was officially over. “I don’t want to talk to her,” Caroline told The Daily Dish in August 2016. While Teresa told E! News in January 2018: “I want to reconcile being friends? No, She’s a money-hungry bitch.”

D’Andra Simmons and LeeAnne Locken

D’Andra Simmons joined the Real Housewives of Dallas during season 2 as LeeAnne Lockens’ best friend but by season 3 the two were the biggest of foes. Their bitter battle started when Locken voiced her concern over Simmons’ financial struggles. An angry Simmons allegedly spread rumors that Locken’s fiancé Rich Emberland had been unfaithful. A claim the couple has strongly denied. When the ladies met again at the season 3 reunion it seemed as if there was no chance of reconciliation although Simmons’ mother Mama Dee’s intervention did help calm the tension a bit. D’Andrea apologized for spreading the rumor and LeeAnne said she was open to reconciling.  “We’ll see!” Locken said on Twitter. “Anything’s possible!”

Monique Samuels and Ashley Darby

Monique Samuels had the scare of her life when she fell asleep behind the wheel minutes from her home. The RHOP star thankfully woke up just in time to avoid crashing into a tree. However, she didn’t get any sympathy from co-star Ashley Darby who instead added fuel to the fire when she told their co-stars that Monique had “four martinis” before driving. Monique denied the accusation. The bad blood between Ashley and Monique was still boiling during season 3.

Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss

Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks’ friendship fallout was one of the saddest in Housewives history. When season 8 of RHOA kicked off fans were surprised to learn that Kandi and Phaedra were no longer friends. Phaedra wasn’t happy that Kandi and her hubby Todd Tucker remained friends with her ex-husband Apollo Nida. Kandi and Todd even stored some of Apollo’s things at their house while he was incarcerated. Meanwhile, Kandi was pissed that Phaedra stiffed Todd on work he did on her Donkey Booty DVD. Their friendship just continued to deteriorate as season 9 rolled around. At the season 9 reunion things came to a head when it was revealed that Phaedra spread fake rumors about Kandi; claiming that she and Todd tried to drug co-star Porsha Williams. Phaedra left the show shortly after.

Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams

The drama that happened between Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams will go down as the oddest drama in Housewives history. As Kandi and Porsha battled it out they both tossed out accusations about each other’s sexual past. The juiciest tidbit was that they engaged in a late-night dance-floor make-out session with each other. Things got so hot between the two that Williams allegedly offered to have sex with Kandi. When Porsha heard Kandi’s claim she fired back with one of her own; claiming that Kandi and Todd planned on drugging her that night, which turned out to be a false rumor started by Phaedra Parks.  After two years of fighting, Porsha and Kandi mended fences at the season 11 reunion.

“We good?” Williams asked. “We good!” Burruss confirmed.

Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin

The end of Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin’s friendship rocked the Real Housewives world. Bethenny and Jill quickly became the best of friends during the first two seasons of RHONY but by season 3 the two were estranged. The two grew apart during filming after Bethenny told Jill to “get a hobby.” Their co-stars spent all of season 3 trying to get the two to reconcile, which never worked out. Jill rejected Bethenny’s attempts at an apology but when she was finally ready to reconcile the SkinnyGirl mogul had already started a new chapter of her life. It wasn’t until Bobby Zarin’s death in 2018 that the two finally reconciled. Nowadays the two are friendly.

Caroline Manzo and Dina Manzo

Sisters Dina Manzo and Caroline Manzo made it clear that “blood is thicker than water” during season 1 of RHONJ when Caroline declared they were “thick as thieves.” So, it was shocking to learn that the two had a falling out after Dina left RHONJ halfway through season 2.  “Caroline does not speak to me at all … we haven’t spoken in two years,” Dina revealed in August 2018. Dina returned to RHONJ in season 6, after Caroline had left following season 5. According to Dina, reality TV fame changed her sister while Caroline insists Teresa Giudice poisoned her sister against her.

“People become [caricatures] of themselves. … It was when I didn’t recognize who she was any more that I said, ‘I’m out,’” Dina explained.
