The Hills may have launched its stars into reality TV fame but it was also the starting point for many current reality TV stars.
If you look closely enough at old episodes of The Hills you’ll see some of your favorite reality TV stars back when they were nobodies.
Turns out several future reality TV stars popped up on The Hills before anyone even knew who they were. In fact, if you aren’t paying close enough attention you could easily miss these familiar faces cameos on The Hills.
While The Hills didn’t turn these nobodies into superstars it did help pave the way for their future reality TV fame.
With that said let’s breakdown every future reality TV star who had a cameo on The Hills.
Landon Clements — Season 1, Episode 3
Before starring on Southern Charm, Landon worked with Heidi Montag at Bolthouse Productions as “Brent’s other assistant.” Back in 2016, Landon explained why she took a back seat on the show telling Page Six, “I wasn’t on the show that much because, at the time, I really wanted to build my career.”
Tom Sandoval — Season 1, Episode 8
Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port were tasked with casting male models their age for a swimsuit shoot at Teen Vogue. One of the models turned out to be Tom Sandoval, who would later go on to star on Vanderpump Rules.
Eva Marcille — Season 2, Episode 2
Lauren and Whitney worked the Ashley Paige runway show and America’s Next Top Model winner Eva Marcille was among one of the guests at the show. Eva later returned to reality TV when she became a cast member on the Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Taylor Armstrong — Season 4, Episode 7
Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong first appeared on reality TV thanks to her good friend Linda Thompson who also happens to be the mom of The Hills star Brody Jenner. Linda and Taylor were out and about and spotted Stephanie Pratt on a secret date with Lauren Conrad’s former flame Doug Reinhart. The two went over to say hi and the rest is reality TV history!
Scheana Marie — Season 5, Episode 3
Scheana Marie Shay, of Vanderpump Rules, also appeared on The Hills. During season 5, Scheana and her friend Stacie appeared on the show when they were hanging out with star Spencer Pratt. Spencer asked what song would have to play to get the ladies to dance on the bar and Scheana told him Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar On Me.” While Scheana never danced on the bar, she would later do just that on Vanderpump Rules while singing her own song “Good As Gold.”
Kim Kardashian — ‘The Hills’ 10th Anniversary Special
And last but certainly not least is Kim Kardashian. During season 3, a pre-Keeping Up With the Kardashians Kim attended Spencer and Heidi’s housewarming party with her stepbrother Brody. While Kim’s scene got cut and never aired it resurfaced during The Hills 10-Year Anniversary Special in 2016.
